The House Before

You wake up as a House.

Your limbs stretch through endless rooms filled with grotesque creatures. You can never see outside of yourself, never feel the world that lies beyond your flesh.

Every corner of your anatomy is seething with terror. Every inch of your skin is painted with intricate wounds, etched long before you were born.

And yet, there is life inside you: shapeless haunts, organic material with barely any purpose, save to despise you for crimes committed aeons ago.

GAMEPLAY:

The House Before is an interactive horror story about the wreckages of history and the terror of being trapped inside one's own body.  

The game blends elements of visual novels and adventure with simple mini-games.  

The House Before takes around 2 hours to complete and is mostly a linear experience.  You will enjoy it if you are looking for an original story and a poetic horror atmosphere.  It probably won’t be for you if you’re looking for a fast-paced action experience, jump scares or complex puzzles.
