- Decree edits to increase your revenue, develop your external relations and maintain your position as a timeless ruler.
- Pillage the territories of your neighbors to take their riches.
- Take control of your rivals' territories and grow stronger.
- Do not offend the Byzantine Empire or the Roum Sultanate to avoid incurring the wrath of these powerful nations.
- Every turn, surprising events may happen. Make the best decisions for your own interests or for the interest of your subjects.
- Manage your council to benefit from their support. Bribe them, choose decisions that will keep them and their powerful advtanges on your side.
- Manage your diplomacy and wait for the right moment to strike your rivals while keeping an eye on the others.
